Evaluation of Magazine Psychologies

The magazine I am evaluating is Psychologies, this magazine cover is very classy and simple which links in with their target audience which is 35+. The one picture of the woman has been chosen because the magazine editor obviously wasn't aiming to have the page over loaded with pictures, so the one picture shows the aim of it being for older women. The casual light colors such as blue and white were used because the magazine contains articles etc about healthy and happy life, and the colors used on the front cover show this by not being in your face, quite peaceful. The amount of writing on the cover is quite a lot to show the amount of information for the target audience as they would be more willing to read more than rather have a page full of pictures and less writing. The context page is suited for target audience as it is simple and doesn't have too much covering the context page and uses simple colors.
