Working on Magazine Cover and Contents Page - 2nd Feb.

Today I have arranged all of my wording on my magazine cover page and have chosen my final colors for the theme of my magazine, I have chosen a hot pink, and black writing, I have kept my structure and layout very simple but effective as it looks very professional. Also The next time I approach my magazine cover all I will have to do is place the image in the middle to address to the audience that this image is the main feature that is held inside. Also I have chosen my main head line to be "The blood Bath Ashleigh Created!" I have chosen this to then contrast with the image I will get which will be an innocent picture to show the contrast between the story.

My contents Page

here is the first draft of my contents page, following the colour scheme I had applied to the front cover I started to add more photos in and editing them to how I wanted them to lay out on the page.

The 2nd draft shows how I have added in different sections for the contents. I got some idea's from the NME contents page.

From the NME contents page I chose how the different sections of the magazine were highlighted so that it was easier to read and had structure to the contents page. If I had done the contents page differently I would have highlighted the different sections more by mirroring the 'NEWS' 'RADAR' etc with a pink background.
