Planning - Draft of Music Magazine

this is my draft of the music magazine - i will make sure that it is more eye catching. Also there will be a large main photo to grab the audience to the magazine - as for my college magazine I believe that the final outcome didn't look as affective when having more that one photo, therefore for my music magazine I have decided to only use one photo and have more photos attaching to that main event inside. Here I took this ida from a female orientated magazine, however not a music one.

Here is a 'Now' magazine.  From my draft above I have chose a small title for the magazine, and have chosen the picture to be on the right with text on the left, I first did my draft similar to this 'Now' magazine because it is definately targeted at a female audience and i wanted to mirror this so that my intention was clear to my target audience. However, during the planning process I looked at other magazines such as NME and Kerrang. Despite these magazines not matching the target audience that I have chosen, I planned to pick out different effects and conventions that were used in these magazines, and then challenge them to a pop music magazine.
